Pricing & billing
Why is a subscription required — is there no free tier?
Vastram doesn't offer a free tier. Every shop subscribes to Monthly (₹799/month) or Annual (₹6,999/year) to keep the app ad-free and reliable, with no artificial limits on bookings or inventory once you're in. See the Pricing page for the full plan comparison.
How does billing actually work?
Vastram bills as a recurring subscription. On mobile, that's handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. On the web app, it's handled by Razorpay via UPI Autopay or a card mandate — you'll get a notification at least 24 hours before each recurring debit, per Indian e-mandate rules.
What happens if a payment fails?
If a recurring charge fails, your subscription enters a grace period before access is paused — you'll get a notification either way, and can update your payment method to keep your subscription active without losing data.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?
Email [email protected] to cancel — we process requests within 24 hours — or manage it directly via the App Store / Play Store on mobile. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your shop data isn't deleted on cancellation; see the Privacy Policy for how to request full deletion.
Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?
Monthly charges are non-refundable. If an Annual subscription auto-renews and you didn't mean to keep it, you can request a refund within 7 days of the renewal charge. Full detail is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The product
Does Vastram work on iPhone, Android, and desktop?
Yes — Vastram ships as a native iOS app, a native Android app, and a web app you can open from any desktop or laptop browser. All three read and write the same shop data, so a booking made on your phone shows up instantly on the web dashboard.
Can my customers use Vastram to book directly?
No — Vastram is an owner-only tool, on purpose. Your customers keep interacting with you the way they already do, over WhatsApp and phone calls. Vastram just manages your side of that conversation: inventory, bookings, invoices, and history.
Does it support Gujarati?
Yes. The entire app — every screen, not just a handful of labels — can be switched between English and Gujarati from Shop Settings.
What happens if I lose internet connectivity mid-booking?
Vastram needs an internet connection to save a booking, since availability is checked against the live shared database — this is what prevents two staff members on different devices from double-booking the same item. We recommend a stable connection when creating or editing bookings.
