- Open any booking's detail screen and tap Invoice.
- Vastram builds a PDF invoice with your shop logo, address, phone, and GSTIN in the header; the customer's name, phone, and address; pickup/return/event dates; an itemized table of every product in the booking; and a financial summary — subtotal, discount, net rent, advance paid, security deposit, and balance due.
- If alteration was requested, it shows in a separate highlighted box, along with your shop's custom invoice terms from Shop Settings.
- Tap the share button. On mobile, this opens your phone's normal share sheet — pick WhatsApp, and the PDF is attached to a new WhatsApp message ready to send. On the web app, it opens your browser's print/share dialog with the PDF ready to save or print.
A note on WhatsApp
WhatsApp's own wa.me links can only carry text, not a file attachment — that's a WhatsApp platform limitation, not something any app can work around. Sharing the PDF as a file through your phone's native share sheet (as described above) is the reliable way to get the invoice to a customer on WhatsApp today.
